Return Policy and Commercial Terms – 3D Printing Services
1. Customized nature of products
1.1. All products manufactured by Flu-FabLab Universe through 3D printing are considered customized products, created exclusively at the client’s request and according to the specifications provided (model, material, dimensions, color, finishes, etc.).
1.2. In accordance with Article 16 (c) of Government Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights, customized products are not subject to the right of withdrawal from the contract and therefore cannot be returned.
2. Payment and order acceptance
2.1. To initiate the production process, full advance payment of the order is required.
2.2. Confirmed payment constitutes the client’s express acceptance of the communicated specifications and of the conditions of this policy.
2.3. Orders will only be processed once payment has been received.
3. Dimensional tolerances and variations
3.1. 3D printing involves certain technical tolerances inherent to the process. The final dimensions of the product may vary by ±0.5 mm up to a maximum of ±1 mm compared to the specifications provided.
3.2. The client expressly accepts these tolerances as normal and unavoidable within the technology used.
3.3. Any additional variations can only be discussed and agreed upon in writing, at the client’s explicit request, prior to starting production.
4. Nonconformities and claims
4.1. Products may be considered nonconforming only if:
- the delivered model differs significantly from the confirmed one;
- the material used does not correspond to the one agreed upon;
- the dimensions exceed the maximum tolerance of ±1 mm;

the product shows obvious manufacturing defects attributable to Flu-FabLab Universe.
4.2. The client must notify in writing any nonconformity within 48 hours from receiving the product, attaching photos and details.
4.3. In case of confirmed nonconformity, Flu-FabLab Universe may, at its discretion: - remake the product at no additional cost to the client; or
- refund the value of the defective product within 14 days.
5. Limitation of liability
5.1. Flu-FabLab Universe assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect, incomplete, or unclear specifications provided by the client.
5.2. Modifications requested after production has started are not possible and cannot constitute grounds for return.
5.3. Flu-FabLab Universe does not guarantee the compatibility of 3D printed products with other components, devices, or systems, unless this aspect has been specified and confirmed in writing before production.
6. Delivery and transport
6.1. Production and delivery times are communicated prior to order confirmation and may vary depending on the complexity of the project.
6.2. Flu-FabLab Universe is not liable for delays caused by third parties (couriers, raw material suppliers) or external factors (weather conditions, unforeseen events).
6.3. Risk over the product transfers to the client once it is handed over to the courier.
7. Final provisions
7.1. By placing an order, the client declares that they have read, understood, and accepted this Return Policy and Commercial Terms.
7.2. This policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of using the services of Flu-FabLab Universe.
